American Veterans of Igbo Descent (AVID) in conjunction with World Igbo Congress (WIC) seeks to have a direct flight from the United States to Enugu International Airport, to alleviate the sufferings of Igbo travelers and their neighbors, whose final destination is in the Southeast (SE), South-South, (SS) and Northcentral (NC) region of Nigeria.

A survey is developed to show the demand trends, from prospective travelers in these three regions. The present arrangement is causing a lot of economic hardship for travelers from these regions due to flights from the US/Canada to Lagos and Abuja.

Potential airports that we have approached to serve as HUB are seeking through their Business Development Managers, for population data to support the development of the flight routes.
